Midwest Carbon Zero is a community of like minded people taking positive action to drive government and community climate change action in the Midwest. We are based in Geraldton, Western Australia.

Accept the science

The Midwest of Western Australia is experiencing the effects of climate change. We must reduce CO2 in the atmosphere for the sake of future generations (all species).

Government advocacy

Western Australian CO2 greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise largely driven by new gas fields. The state government is not doing what is needed to decarbonise Western Australia. Midwest Carbon Zero is working to drive action at all levels of government. We are building partnerships with like minded organisations and businesses.

Community transformation

Midwest Carbon Zero recognises we have to change the way we live and consume if we are going to keep global temperatures at acceptable levels. We are getting on with it and are bringing the community with us!
